Introduction to Carewatch (Wyvern) Carewatch (Wyvern) is a Domiciliary Care Agency registered with CQC, the Care Quality Commission, providing Personal and Domestic Care to a wide range of people. At our last Inspection, CQC rated Carewatch Wyvern as providing a Good 'Two Star' service. Whilst most of our clients are elderly, we also work with many other groups such as children, people with physical disabilities, dementia sufferers, the infirm, and people with Learning Difficulties.
Carewatch is accredited with both Somerset and Mid-Devon County Councils and supply a wide range of care services to both Local Authority customers and a growing number of private individuals.
The services we provide include:

* Assistance in getting up and going to bed

* Help with bathing
* Meal preparation & cooking
* Pension collection
* Domestic cleaning
* Laundry
* Social Support and companionship
* Sitting Services
* 24 hour Care packages
* Assistance with prescribed medication
* Administration of food & medication via PEG
We are very experienced at working with people accessing Direct Payments and Individualised Budgets giving them control over their Social Services care package.
All our Social Care Workers receive a high level of training and the vast majority have either achieved an NVQ qualification in Care or are working their way towards one. All staff have obtained an Enhanced Disclosure check from the Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) giving potentially vulnerable clients an extra degree of re-assurance regarding the honesty and integrity of the person they are letting into their own home.

Carewatch (Wyvern) serves a large area running down the 'M5 corridor' encompassing a large part of Somerset and Mid-Devon. The area extends from Burnham-on-Sea in the North of Somerset down to Crediton in Devon, an area with a population of about 250,000 people.
Most of our current clients are based in and around the Taunton Deane area, although we also provide a service in Mid-Devon benefiting from the presence of a Tiverton based Supervisor who oversees this area. Our work in this area is in the Tiverton, Cullompton & Crediton areas plus the surrounding villages.
