Devon Contract Extended Again
Devon County Council have agreed to extend Carewatch's Sitting contract once again.
This service is open to all carers who live in the Cullompton, Tiverton & Crediton areas of Mid-Devon and who provide substantial and regular unpaid care for another person in their own home.
Carewatch arrange for a sitter to come and look after the person in need of assistance whilst the carer enjoys a break.
There are no application forms to be completed and the sitting service is available to all carers living in the relevant Mid Devon areas, regardless of circumstances
Service Users are able to go shopping, attend appointments, go out for a night on the town or simply give themselves a few well earned hours off.
Whatever the reason, thanks to the support of Mid Devon the sitting service is available at current costs of just £2.50 per hour.
