Introducing our People Providing you with a quality home care service is our priority. Carewatch Care Services only employs Care Workers who are capable, honest and friendly. Before a care worker provides you with care in your home, rigorous checks are made on their qualifications and past experience. If these are satisfactory, we instruct Care Workers to attend a 3-day care worker induction training course and thereafter, we provide them with regular training updates.
To give you complete reassurance, Carewatch Care Services has implemented specific quality standards covering wider issues such as supervision of Care Workers, keeping records of the care you receive and communication.

Ru Newman - Managing Director
Ru acquired the Carewatch business in early 2003 after enjoying a 20 year career in the Advertising Industry, working in London, Europe and the Far East, working on such clients as Mars, Coca-Cola and Procter & Gamble.
With a young family at home, and the travel becoming a chore, Ru decided that the time was right to break from Advertising and to fulfill his long held ambition to run his own business.
He wanted a complete work change and was seeking a more fulfilling and rewarding business in which to utilise his service industry and people skills, and is now delighted to offer a service that is truly appreciated by his clients.
The business has allowed Ru to return close to his West Country roots, and move his wife and two children out of London into the more relaxing and healthy Somerset environment.
Ru is a keen sportsman and boasts about being (probably) the world's tallest wicketkeeper and (allegedly) the world's worst goalkeeper (now retired). He also enjoys cycling and is a lifelong fan of both Bristol City and Gloucestershire CCC.
He is a keen music fan enjoying a wide range of black and world music.
Ru lives with his wife and kids in Bridgwater.
